Catarina Ribeiro was born in the summer of 1993 in a small town near Porto, Portugal.
“Oscarina” was the name of her first cat and she wanted to honor her cat somehow. She could have gotten a tattoo, but she adopted her name instead.

Studied Design at Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto and Printing Techniques at Universitat Politècnica de València. In 2016 she moved to Lisbon where she currently works as a freelance graphic designer, however it is through illustration that she communicates more creatively.

She sees beauty in the human body and nature and that’s where she finds inspiration. By mixing these elements with abstract shapes and colors, her works create sometimes bold and sometimes delicate scenes
